Whether the beach wedding is local or at a foreign country; there is a lot of planning involved when attending a beach wedding as a guest. However, travel and accommodation are not the only aspects about a beach wedding that a guest should plan for.
Here is a list of things to consider when attending a beach wedding:
- You will probably have to take a few days off work; which is never a problem for most people
- If you have children, you will also need to make prior arrangements for their care during your time away
- Pack according to the weather; not all beach destinations will be sunny throughout
- Shop for wedding gifts which will travel well, alternatively go for gift certificates or simply shop for wedding gifts from the wedding destination
- Remember to bring a camera along with you; a beach wedding is one of the special moments which should be documented
- Don’t forget about pets; if you do have pets, you will have to make arrangements for their care during your time away.
